Need your advice or help!

Postby Baron » Wed Jan 26, 2011 9:36 pm

Hi, everyone!
Need your advice!
What would my situation was understandable.
I live in Russia, ride a GL1500. And my bike as well, and all necessary spare parts. And of course, want to save a little. Find cheap and quality parts and accessories in Russia is difficult. We use the purchase through Ebay and other online shop. I found suitable to me for a price items in one online shop, but ... The seller refuses to send to Russia.
He writes,
"Like most Russians and Ukrainians, you have a very hard head. No, means Nyet, means No. No interest at all. We do not sell to your country, just as much as we do not sell to South America, Indonesia, all Arab countries. Too much commercial and official corruption, and too much headache involved. You will have to find someone in the USA who knows how to bribe the right authorities to get goods to you, or arrange safe passage. Your Postal System in not safe , With too much theft, bribery and corruption. Just not wrth it for us. "
"Give it up, please, and find someone in Brooklyn who specializes and buying and selling to Russians. That is their business."

His shop-www.saber-cycle.com in Brooklyn.
We have a lot of buying on Ebay, and not only. Such problems ever.
Tell me how to be in this situation.
Or tell me Shop, where you can buy cheap parts for my bike.
Thank you!
Best regards!
Vadim

Vadim : Try goldwing chrome just looked at their site they do ship outside the U.S. also wing stuff web site. saber cycles has a lot of bad reports.Hard to deal with,as you have allready found out by their nasty e-mail to you. Most wingers on this site and others will not deal with them ( poor customer relations and bad parts) If I see any more good sites,or if someone else chimes in they may have other sites Good Luck with finding parts. And welcome to goldwingdocs . P.S. found another site but dont know if they ship overseas. http://www.cheapcycleparts.com Hal

Vadim. As it has been mentioned already forget those guys. They have more complaints than anybody. In the end I think their attitude actually saved you the aggravation of buying their junk. Not that their attitude is correct. An email like that certainly shows what they are like. Can't see how they stay in business.

What kind of parts are you looking for? New, used?

I see that Cyclemax ships to Russia. Great people to deal with.

I have never been treated like that on EBay! That was totaly uncalled for!!!!! I think I would pass the word around to bypass this guy! He could have been a hole lot nicer in his responce to you. When you search on EBay, make sure they ship world wide or ship out of the USA. If they don't, don't ask them, you might just get another rude responce. If you need or want something ask us and we might be able to help.

Actually, it's not a guy, it's an old hag of a woman named Diane Krizek. She pops up every once in a while apologizing for the horrible emails and blaming it on an employee named "Gene" (who turns out to be her husband), saying that she will put a stop to it, but nothing ever changes.

Baron: You did nothing wrong and should not feel bad, they shot them selves in the foot a long time ago. If you dont take care of your customers then someone else will. You are a winger and should have never been talked to that way, good thing they are not living in the south!! someone would teach them some proper manners.(Redneck style) If you get any other crap from them just post it here, plenty of other wingers will see it and know what type of dealer they are and not to deal with them. Good riding if weather will allow and good luck. Hal

I understand that such people when it gets in their way, the same attitude. To understand what they are ....
Although if not have brains in your head, then they will not understand.
Thank you for the wish-
"Good riding if weather will allow and good luck"
But, while we, snow-covered roads and 18 degrees Celsius :(
Have to wait another two months
good luck

Hi Everyone!
I have one more question. I understand that he is not on the forum. But for me, is important.
Tell me whether there is a U.S. site where you can search for people?
By name, last name and year of birth
I want to find my father. I only know that he is in U.S.
Thanks in advance!
Vadim
