Judy,
You sound as enthusiastic as my wife about riding (her name is Judy also;rides a '95 Honda Pacific Coast). Just this week she was saying we need to move somewhere so as to ride our bikes more than a few weeks a year. I scraped ice off her car windshield this morning so she could go pick up the grand kids today. Happy touring, blackbird
by the way, she would like to win the light also.

We are getting ready for week long trip to Jacksonville, Florida and then back to Daytona for bike week. My husband has been working day and night to get my goldwing and all the extras together and wired so everything works. We are taking our mini dachsie and look forward to a rewarding trip. Then we are off to the Florida keys for a few days.
God Bless everyone and ride safe.
PS: If anyone is looking for a sweet trike I have a 2006 Suzuki C50 (800cc) with a Lehman conversion. over $2,000 of LED lights. Asking $10,950 or best offer. I can send photos if anyone might be interested. A great starter trike or for someone who just wants to have a trike, but doesn't want to spend a lot of money. The bike is like new and is loaded. She cruises with the big dogs at 70-80 mph with cruise control. A real looker, hate to see it go, but I got my goldwing now.
Thanks,
Judy

Welcome Judy! Don't head back here to Michigan anytime soon, we're in for some more of the white stuff, as I mentioned in my other post!

Won't be back to the igloo, until April. I send warm wishes and breezes North so you have an early Spring. I think I am going to name my goldwing the Black Pearl, she is a beauty.

Well I drove my goldwing right into the harley dealership as proud as can be. My husband has the HD so we had to go get oil and filter for an oil change. Can't wait till I fill the gas again to see what kind of gas mileage I am getting. Now back to the Nascar Race.

Hi Judy, welcome to the best ride every. We got our new GL1800 in September of last year and already have 17K on it. Looking forward to putting quite a few more miles on it as soon as it warms up just a little more here in N. Illinois. I don't like to take the bike out until the salt and chloride have been washed away. That stuff is really bad for the bikes. I don't mind the cold that much but just the salt and chloride are a no no.
Hope you totally enjoy your new ride. I know I enjoy mine.
This was the three bikes I have owned in the last 5 years. Had to sell the 98 Shadow to buy the 2001 Goldwing. Sure wish I had it back now. I loved the look and style of that bike.

It was 85 yesterday and today it will be the same. Getting ready fer our trip to Jacksonville and Daytona bike week, this will be my first trip with my new bike and I am looking forward to it. We rode our bikes to the Discovery shuttle launch last week and that was awesome, except for the traffic we had a great time. We were 8 miles away and got to see, hear and feel everything. What a great experience for me and for America.
Ride Safe,
Judy

I can't wait to get mine out. I hope to chnage the engine this coming weekend and get her on the road. I just hope I'm up to it. Right now My arm is hurting and is feeling numb and cold. I have more strenght in it and more in my grip. I have started having more headachs again too. I've got 115 lbs. grip in my right hand and 60 lbs. in my left hand. I gained 20 lbls. in 2 weeks. so thats not bad. I road I daughters boyfriends new 97 vt1100 shadow the othe week. Took it around 6 blocks or so. Was tired after that. Hum... and My wing is bigger than that... Guess will see! Have fun riding your new wing... You'll love it!
