just wanted to say HI, joined this forum to help the old man work on his bike and to possibly save him alittle $$ in the process. Time together doesn't hurt either. Myself, I'm the guy on the crotch-rocket maybe going a tad bit too fast. cautious but not crawling. Looking forward to spending time with my dad armed with your knowledge- Thanks in advance... :D :o

Welcome to the site! Some of us (myself included) are ex-crotch rocketers....but eventually you'll graduate to a Wing and realize there's just no comparison. :)

Hey Rocket dude, I learned to ride my brothers 73 Kawasaki kZ900 so I know how to fly, back then that thing was really fast, I know today's bikes are much faster, but yeh, most of us had our fun all ready, now we are more about just riding and enjoying and I like camping and trailering..I have learned a bunch of stuff here and on other sites, really cool stuff I never knew before..I'm still learning stuff so how about we learn together..Welcome to the site..

I had a friend with an old Kawasaki 900 that I had out for a few rides - always amazed at how fast that thing was.

I'm the last one to ride in this video, taken back in 1992:
