Keep in mind that if an intruder did have your password, you would not get the message "You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts
." That only means that they are using your login name
and are trying to access your account by trying different passwords and have yet to find the proper combination. So in essence, your password is secure for the time being. Rest assured though, if they have tried your name in the past, they will try it again in the future. A strong password is the only safeguard you have to prevent anyone from accessing your account and leaving SPAM or malicious content in your name.
If your name and password is compromised, the intruder not only can leave info in your name but capture any info you have on the system such as full name, address, location, email address, or anything else you have added to your personal information.
