I agree. I'm on Cape Cod and said the hell with the weather and took my bike for its first ride today. I've had it for 6 weeks and the weather sucked but I had enough and took it out for a hundred mile ride. It was in the mid 30's with wind between 30 to 40 mph but with the help of gerbings and the comfort pkg. it was a good first ride. Now where the heck is spring?

Just after the majority of all the snow disappeared the last three days, they're predicting four to eight inches of snow for tonite across the thumb of Michigan and a quarter inch of ice for the Detroit metro area! Bummer

For you tallman - Portland Maine, and for me too, Ontario Canada. We cannot buck the odds. Now for hogvette, in Cape Cod, it is a different story. I lived in New Mexico for three years, and never missed a day on a motorcycle. It is a different story in the "Great White North", Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Well the storm is over for us, we have gotten 12 inches, I hope it dwindles by the time it reaches you folks in the northeast!

This weekend, I actually went for a ride, half way through it I had to stop and put a jacket on (the T-shirt just wasn't doing it).. They say the temp dropped to 67 (it was in the mid 70's when I started the ride.. I know how you all feel, this cold weather is terrible :D roll on spring..

Seriously guys, move to Texas, Spring is already here and we have been blowing out the cobwebs for the last few weeks..

Hope spring does eventually arrive for you..

Gary

PS just winding you all up, don't take this too seriously, although the weather is great...

I do know that when I lived in New Mexico, I was the ONLY one who was riding in the morning or early afternoon in December, January, February and March. The guys originally from there wouldn't come out to play till about 3 PM. When the temps got above 65F, they could ride. And then it was pretty much down to the bar for a beer. I worked 28 miles from town, and I rode every day, fog or shine, lol. (not much rain in N.M.) It has it's cold spots, like Magdellena, and Gallup and such, but where I lived, I doubt it hit freezing more than once or twice in three years. Not so for here. I doubt it gets above freezing more than once or twice a month all winter.
