He was on yesterday. Today he is probably shoveling out. We are having a blizzard with 10-12 inchs of snow with 45 mph winds. Not good riding weather.

Boy, was my area lucky!! The 2" to 6" inch "treacherous " big snow we were supposed to get last night here in northern IL turned into a "wimpy" 1/8 th inch dusting. Whew!!As far as where Wing Admin is...?? As scratcho said, probably shoveling a foot of snow. Good luck all you snow challenged people. Spring will be here soon. Really!! Honest!! I promise!!!

First guess got it. I'm on vacation, over in the UK. I know, not much of a vacation spot in February, but circumstances dictate. :)

I get the occasional chance to get on here, but nowhere near what I normally do.

I hear there's quite a bit of snow back home...I return Sunday, so I'm sure it will still be there to greet me...

Oh well, thanks for that, I guess. :)

Adele's got quite a few good songs...just the one that's popular in the US right now, though.

We really got trounced today. Hard to tell how much because of drifting. They are saying rain starting Sunday and rain in the 50s Monday, should be good for some major flooding. Hope you can fly into Hopkins Sunday. Last night they said about half of flights were cancalled. hopefully better on Sunday. Dennis

I'm up north, north of Manchester. It's always cold and wet here in February! And expensive is a given...

Nothing as reliable as the consistently revolting food in England. I ordered nachos, expecting, well, nachos. What I got was a plate of salty tortilla chip crumbs and a little paper thing of ketchup. This cost me the equivalent of US$4.50.

These are nachos?

Most Mexicans have more sense than to go to England, so the English have no idea what Nachos are or should look like!! Stick with the good (ahem) English food, Fish & chips, Haggis with mushy peas, deep fried mars bars, Indian food, etc..

That pic looks like someone threwup on a plate . Stick with fish & chips with a good brown ale . The Brits do a few good ales . Try a Whitebread tan .

We can do a lot better than that way up here in the north of Scotland m8 and you don't want any of that crap they call real ale, it tastes like gnats pee.

A good malt would be better for you. mind you I can't drink the stuff myself as I'd cause a riot in an empty room. fight with my shadow if I touch whisky.

If you are ver up this way again, give me a shout.

I tried one, dipped in the ketchup, wondering if perhaps they knew something I didn't...and they didn't. I left the plate.
