Just wanted to take a minute to intrduce myself here in the chat forum... My forum name is "Bobalooby1" ... I would like to say, HELLO TO ALL!. I am the the owner of a 1983 Goldwing interstate with 42,000 miles on the odo. it was a "lucky" garage find in 90 percent condition but stored and not ridden for 6 yrs. i have owned it for two seasons. in these two seasons i performed needed upgrades to this Goldwing. most of them preventive ones and much needed. I removed the tank for electrolysis cleaning. changed every lamp i could to LED's. replaced the timing belts (this winter) and downloaded the shop service manual. which i placed in a 3 ring binder. If it were not for this site i would have spent hundreds in repair shops!...

Little beaver, Thank you very much! And with this Goldwing, i notice it gets a lot of onlookers and attention while parked. My Harley riding friends are jealous i think?.... cant easily post a picture just yet since my computer tower has no SD card slots. As soon as i get an adapter, one should be posted for viewing. you wont beleive your eyes.!...... "Bobalooby1"

Thanks Wally!... so tell me, About how many people have left the state of Michigan in the last 5 yrs ? .. Heard that u-haul rentals were way up! Built any new casinos lately? Ohio is getting thier very first one in cleveland soon. Ohio was "BLEEDING" cash to West Virgina and Pennstlvania. Well, thats the "Political' story we get here. . Looks as if the tour busses are going to get less ridership here.? .

Yes, a lot of people left the state looking for work, a lot unemployed, but I don't understand the shopping malls are still full and the restaurants crowded! All I want is for the weather to warm up so we can ride our wings and forget our troubles.

Hello. Welcome to the group. Will be riding my "06 North this spring. Will be going to D.c. for ROLLING THUNDER then over to Akron and Cleveland to see my son and brother. Then back down the Blue Ridge Parkway to return to Southwest Florida. Have ridden straight through to Akron (1256 miles) twice with no problems About 19 hours including a stop for breakfast. The first time comming back down here it rained the whole way and took me 22 hours.
