hello, new member here. just picked up a 82 GL1100i. all this week been going thru it getting it ready to run again. there has been alot of helpfull tips here, now just cannot wait to get it out and ride it. and last but not least i did see to change my timing belts :D . thanks

Welcome to the club.. The timing belts do get a bit of a bad rep on here, but that's just because when they do fail, it's a big expense to repair!! Good to change them and have the peace of mind.. Hope you like the wing..

Good to change the belts,as I found out when my stator went He had it apart anyway
And that was on my 86 wing last fall.So I hope this old gal runs this spring as good as it did in the short fall
