That first picture looks like you are about to go and rob a bank!

Welcome to the club, I have visited Turkey a few times, not sure a goldwing is what I would choose to ride out there, a dual purpose off/on road bike would have been my choice!! Some lovely roads and some very interesting roads in Turkey

Do you get to visit Europe on your wing?

Gary

Did you do the flat black paint job yourself? I quite like it.

Hello from Michigan! I like the finish on your wing too, you'll have to explain the process you used. Looks great!

Welcome to the board. Very nice looking Wing. Love the finish you did.
Last time I was in Turkey was on a tour, 6 of us with a guide and driver. I think my favorite area was Capadocia. Loved the balloon ride and touring the cavern cities. But all the sites we stopped at were very interesting. I was able to sit and talk with a museum official that turned out to be one of the men that uncovered the ruins of Troy, I believe. That was in 2003. We still communicate with the guide we had there. Very interesting fellow. He was able to get us into the "Blue Mosque" after closing hours. Very good work. Loved all the palaces in Istanbul and all the history, museums, restored and partially restored ruins.
I don't think our countries are on the best of terms right now, politically. Too bad, we met some wonderful people and had a great time. Almost three weeks of touring all but the most eastern part of the country. Our guide did not want to get to close to the eastern border, so we went no farther than Capadocia.
Light travels faster than sound, that is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak!
