Not a wing in site

Postby HALBUDD » Wed Apr 27, 2011 9:18 pm

I went to my local goldwing dealer here in Indiana they also sale other bikes too. I was looking around there was not one goldwing to be found not anywhere guess there all being sold off. Was kind of weird not seeing any goldwings on the floor. Just weird! Hal

My local dealer has none either, and no prospect of getting a 2012. Only 60 to be available in Canada is what I heard, and there are more than 60 dealerships. There are 17 of the 2010 brand new models available at different dealerships in Canada, all advertised on traders.ca. Another forum I belong to has come up with the information that at least two dealerships in the US have bought out Honda's last supply of 2010s and have in the neighborhood of 150 between them (approximate numbers) mostly yellow and red, and are offering the yellow ones repainted to any color you want for an additional $1400 over best deal price. The 2010 models appear to have gone back up in price since last fall. There is one brand new, still in crate, 2009 available at a dealership in Ontario. The price on it is back up to only about $3K less than the 2010s. It really does not look good for new Goldwings for this year. The big rumour is that the 2013 will be the whole new bike, with a 2.0 liter engine, but with Japan in the state it is in - who can even surmise.

This is all that I think I know, but I may know less, lmao

And the last big rumor was that the 2012 would be an all new bike.

Don't worry guys. Rumour has it that 2012 will be a very good year for Goldwings - unless they don't sell the 2012s, in which case, they won't make the new 2013 2.0L fabulously redesigned new Diamondwing.
