OUCH!!!

If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. BF

This was supposed to have taken place in the UK. You'd have thought a neighbor or two would have garden hoses long enough to reach the bike. But, a gas fire is a different animal.

It's sad to see no matter the kind of bike. A fellow biker is a fellow biker.

A few years ago I was at the le-mans race circuit and someone started a small fire using some gas from a plastic jerry can. The can caught fire and the French fire brigade immediately arrived and sprayed water on it, well as expected the gas floats on top of the water (still burning) and starts flowing down the road on top of all the water that the firemen are spraying onto the fire!! Everyone was grabbing bikes and tents and anything near the road to get them out of the way of the oncoming fire!! You would have expected fireman at a race track to have known better!! People were very angry with the firemen afterwards!!

Just glad my bike was no where near the fire!!
