I bought a '81 which has been sitting for 9 years. I'll be transporting it to the house today, I hope. I knocked the dust off and it looks OK but the tires are flat and it will need lots of TLC. It will be a fun project for me. This site is great and has so much infomation I'm glad I found it because I will be using it a lot.

I don't envy you the project. It means more time working and less time riding!

It sat for 9 years? dont try to start it until after you have installed new timing belts. you dont want to risk breaking a belt ,pistons will meet valves. You have a fair bit of work ahead of you but it is worth every hour spent bringing it back into riding shape.Enjoy.

Ride safe, Todd
Over night campers welcome
