I don't think the 1100 has side pockets available. The 1500 and 1800 have built in side pockets for the passenger. The 1100 does have passenger arm rests available though. Perhaps that is what you are referring to.

Those pouches are really not that complex - I'm pretty sure anyone with some modicum of sewing skill could put a set together using some marine-grade vinyl and some zippers.

I'm pretty sure they do - they're part of the trunk.

They are passenger armrest they are attached to the trunk go to Ebay .I believe that 1200 are the same that is where I got mine and yes they are getting hard to come by because the vinyl dries out after years being on the back of the bike and age.

Hi out there.

When I bought my bike seller gave me a pair of pockets. The prev. owner did not want to use them. So now they are on the bike.

My wife never wanted riding with me until we got the Gold Wing. But now she wants some armrest. I have seen those dindong wrote about but as far as I can see they are of the fold down type. I would like to have the swing out type. I found these from saber-cycle. I have seen that saber-cycle is not very well in so does someone know an other place whre I can ger the swing out type.

Please let me hear posetive and negative about both types.

The 1100 and 1200 they swing down i have not seen any that swing out like the 1500 and 1800 they are attached to the trunk instead of the grab handle. Would wear out Ebay or Craigslist I won a set for my 1200 LTD last week but they swing down and they were like new so good luck and God Bless.
