Joplin, Mo Relief

Post by tfdeputydawg » Wed May 25, 2011 5:42 pm

My son is a LEO in Indiana and the Founding Father of the Blue Iron Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
One of the chapters is in Joplin, Mo.
We know of at least 3 LEO's that have lost everything they had and are out there working away. We know of 1 LEO struck by lighting the day after the devastation as more storms moved through. Condition is not good.
We are putting together a relief fund and accepting any and all house hold items/goods/appliances and clothing locally (Indianapolis, In area).
Goods may be delivered to:
13984 Mary Court
Fishers, In.
until June 7th.
There will be a trailer at this residence where items may be placed.
A convoy, escorted by members of the BlueIron LEO club will be with how ever many trucks it takes to Joplin, leaving June9.
The goods and the donations will first be given to Police Officers in need. Remaining goods and money(if any) will then be distributed to needy civilians.
If anyone wants to make a monetary gift at this time, it may be sent via PayPal to
MAKE SURE YOU EAR MARK YOUR DONATION AS A GIFT to Joplin Relief, so that Pay Pal does not withhold their normal fees.
If you prefer you may send your donations to the Joplin Chapter President's wife @ Michelle Howdyshell
2703 Rolla St
Joplin, Mo
Thank you,
Tom Fettinger
aka Dawg

Tom, if you haven't already done so, may I suggest you post this on these other Goldwing forums as well.

I'm sure there must be more forums that would willingly have this post, if anyone can come up with some.
'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!

( Seriously, you haven't read all 115 pages of my website ?? )
