dreaded noobie disease :)

Postby macka » Sat May 28, 2011 9:18 pm

I picked up my 83 GL1100 today. The previous owner was told by the doctors not to ride anymore. He is happy to see it coming to me as I have wanted one since I was kid and my uncle took me for a ride on his. Some assembly required is what the ad said, and all I have to do is reassemble the fairing and lights. It even came with the original manual and tool kit.

Turns out I have an 81. The ownership is waterdamaged, but I have it ready for changeover on Monday. I have pics of it, in the "naked state" which I will post up. I am going to mod it while it is semi assembled. LED signals, LED markers and a HID headlight. I need good lighting with all the moose up here.

'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!
