Hello,
Well I used the dealer appraisal websites to get prices and I have from my trike shop the last dealer appraisal guide for 2011 and it covers bikes as early as 1997. So I ventured over to the websites of http://www.kbb.com and http://www.nadaguides.com for some resale prices. Please bear in mind this is a Goldwing Interstate model, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the Aspencades and SE's. Condition plays a major key in price and how much the bike can bring in. The mileage speaks a good deal, if you can live without all the amenities the other two Wing models have. There is no reverse on the Interstate model and it has a basic stereo that you can hook a portable CD/Ipod or MP3 player to if the cord is there. No onboard air compressor or cruise control
The following are from the websites: http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycles/1 ... ATE/Values and
http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle/retail/19 ... te/253537/
Maybe if you could get the seller to drop the price a bit, unless it's firm.

Well that answered my question if I was going to buy it for 7k it would have to have all the bells and whistles I would like reverse, cruse, and air compressor. I like my 84 aspey. as it has cb,on board air compressor and radio tape deck. I will need to look in more depth as to the differences between the Interstate and the aspey. thanks so much for your help and time. Hal

There are three trim levels for the GL1500
The Interstate, stripped Goldwing
The Aspencade: Reverse, cruise, onboard air compressor, AM/FM with cassette.
The SE: all the above plus brake light spoiler, foot warmers, cornering lights, vented windshield, adjustable floorboards for passenger and rear speakers. I believe the CB may also come with it.
It's my pleasure to assist you.
