didn't have to replace my windshield

Postby james1vers1 » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:02 pm

I read on an older post about Meguiars Plastic Cleaner and how it could help restore my shield. I didn't have anything to loose, it was pretty bad, especially headed into the sun. I have not put the sun on it yet but with the obvious results I'm sure it is fine and saved me well over a hundred dollars. It was amazing seeing it become clear again. Thanks for the wisdom.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've got a bottle of the stuff sitting the garage waiting to be used.

I read on one of the windshield manifactures cleaning techniques that you should never clean with anything but a soft cloth and apply cleaners in straight motions not circular as we have been taught when waxing paint. Good luck
