Hello, I am considering purchasing kevlar riding pants/ jeans, but I am not familiar with them, I am looking for recommendations and also are they to hot to wear in 80 degree temps? see ya on the road

I wear these mesh pants over top of shorts. I've had them on riding in 97 degree weather, and while yeah, it's hot, it's not unbearable (unless you're sitting in traffic, in which case nothing will help you).

A rider I know found out why to never wear only shorts.At 50mph,a yellow jacket was 'driven' in one side.You can imagine the rest.ouch x 2

I have a pair of Tourmaster mesh pants. I wear a pair of shorts with the mesh over them while riding. When I stop they go off like a pair of jogging pants. I wore them down south in 100 temps a few weeks ago and was quite comfortable. Up in the north I sometimes will wear them over Levis but I am interested in a pair of Kevlar Jeans but I haven't seen a pair up close yet.
