Hello from Pennsylvania

Postby splehigh » Thu Aug 04, 2011 7:31 am

Hello everyone,

I've owned an 84 GL1200 Standard for a few years now. It has 73,000 miles on it. Still has the original paint which is in good shape except for the front fender which is faded. I've been driving it to work the past several weeks and have been getting 48-50mpg. I had to rebuild the carbs this spring because I let it set with gas in the carbs for too long. I put a different tail light on it because I didnt like the look of the big bulky one. Kinda wish I would have kept it original now. Oh well. Here are a few crappy cell pics. I'll try to get a couple better ones today with the recently installed saddle bags.

Nice wing...Although I have an 84 Aspy, I sometimes wish I had a naked version. The bags will come in handy when you need to carry something with you.
