As mentioned, it's a line that comes from the on-board compressor to allow you to inflate other objects!!

Sorry there RoadRogue I thought you were the one that replied to me the first night I joined here that if there was on pic it didn't happen LOL. Just found the post and was wrong it wasn't you it was Gary, But since you asked for a pic from this newbie also I assume you have been around long enough to know the rule loL. :) sorry if I accused you of something you didn't do, but my wife does that to me all the time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL.

The dealership i got it from said it was a 97 model. but im not sure. from what i have read and seen and certain accessories on the bike, i beleive it is a 98 model. Is it right that the clear headlight and indicator lenses only came out in 1998.

Welcome to the forum...as others have said, great bunch of guys (and gals) here with a lot of knowledge...Can't answer your questions about the year model, but I have been accused of being dummer than a rock sometimes. I'm sure others will know the answer. Enjoy the forum, enjoy the ride...I just picked up a 98 a few weeks ago myself.
