Just got my first 'Wing (GL1500 - 2000). It's an old one but I hope, a good one. Any hints/tips greatly appreciated

Ooops, apparently adding a pic is de rigueur - so here goes. Only done 4000 miles from new.

Hi Bret, relatively new newby from Wales, I waited 25 years to get mine, now have a GL1800, wish I bought it years ago, now at 56 loving every minute of it.

Hi Bret, im a newbie also, 74 years old, just bought an old 1986 GW 1200 Aspencade and I'm in love. Ride it every day. Bought a Rebel 250 about 3 years ago and decided to get something bigger but still couldn't part with the Rebel. Your GW is beautiful and Im positive you will enjoy it for many years to come. It's hard to imagine myself without one now that I finally got up enough nerve to buy something this big and heavy. Im 5 ft 6 in and weigh 153. Just be careful and ride safely Bret.

Have a blessed ride,

Harold

Hi Bret & welcome to the club, I bought my wing when I turned 44 and have loved it for the last 3 years!! They are great bikes, I was born in the UK and lived there until I was 25 then moved to France, Germany and now the USA!! There are some lovely places to go visit in the UK on a wing!! Try heading north!! :D
