I purchased a 1983 GL 1100 in March - and am just beginning to get acquainted with Wings' owners. Thanks for what looks like a great site!

If anyone knows a good place in the UK to get parts for my bike - especially the front fairing - please let me know. Cheers!

Welcome to the best site you will probably ever join. I am in Cheshire in the UK ,have two Goldwings and have just rebuilt the GL1100 engine as a stable mate for my GL1000 .I use David Silver in the UK for spare parts. Google them and you will find their website and phone numbers. i have found them excellent and very helpful. I would also get the spare and maninenance manuals before starting anything serious on your bike.

Another Texanl here. I can give you a big ol welcome to the forum, but can't help you on parts in the UK. I'm sure there are others here that can. Just a reminder, anytime anyone gets a wing, if you don't know the history, First thing to do is change the timing belts, all the fluids, and possibly the tires.
