newby from SW PA

Postby 06blackwing » Thu Sep 15, 2011 7:29 am

Greetings from the proud owner of a Black 06 Goldwing. Currently on vacation in Emerald Isle, NC until Sunday the 18th of Sept. I ran accross this site looking for some info on the bulb type that is in my foglight housing. My owners manual doesn't show what it is and the one on the left is out. Would like to replace it if I can but it at an auto parts store, just not sure what it is without removing it first and then having to put the bike back together and going to the store coming back and doing it all over again.
Anyway enjoying the warm weather with three other couples from our local GWRRA Chapter T in Somerset, PA. Ride safe and enjoy this beautiful place we live the good old USA.

Welcome to the club, do have a search on this WEB site, if I recall correctly, Honda have a blue tinted bulb in the lights and they are very expensive, someone found a clear bulb that is a direct replacement and was MUCH cheaper.. I don't recall the details, but if you use the search function I am sure you can find it..

Hope you enjoy the wing.

Gary

Thanks the weathers been great until today. It's windy and only about 67 now and overcast. Looking for a little warm up for Sat. & Sun. This is a great place not overly crowded and the beaches are really clean no trash. Are already planning on returning next year.

Back home from a most enjoyable vacation at Emerald Isle, NC. Enjoyed it so much we are planning on another trip there next year. Just need to find enough couples to afford an upgrade in houses. There is no comparison in beaches from the OT to Emerald Isle, NC. Emerald Isle is pristine and absolutely no trash on the beaches, couldn't believe the difference in beaches. If your looking for a beach vacation spot I highly recommend the Emerald Isle, NC area. Our reality company Spinnakers Reach Reality company did an excellent job of making our stay enjoyable and their homes are beautiful and along with furnished linens, complete kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils everything you need to be right at home. I would recommend calling them if your interested in a beautiful relaxing beach vacation and if you do ask for Judy or Vickie and mention Gary Yoder I'm sure you will be treated right. As for my fog light I have successfully removed the fog light and will now try to find a replacement bulb from my local auto parts store. Wasn't too hard of a job and doing it myself brought along a little pride in being able to save a few bucks and kinda pat myself on the back for handling the situation myself. Ride safe and enjoy God's beautiful creation and thank him for every safe ride taken.
