Spin that bike around on the cheap

Postby littlebeaver » Mon Sep 19, 2011 12:12 am

This was something I did with two plastic lids from a couple of plastic bins in the past but in this video I used those little square plastic moving plates that move your furniture, you know, you've seen them on TV...Honestly it was so easy to spin the bike...It's not for everyone but it's fun for sure..If just one guy's get something out of it , then I'll be happy..

Hey littlebeaver, you sure are a hoot!! Cool idea. Hey, if it moves furniture, why not a heavy bike, right??

Now THAT's a cool idea for those furniture movers! Just last night, we were over to my son's house, and the grandson was "skating" around the house on a pair of those things.
I was thinking that before I were to use them, I'd put a piece of 1/2" plywood between the centerstand and the pads to spread the weight over the entire pad.
"To ride is the reason, the destination the excuse."

Yeh, she bought them one sat. just before we moved, I moved a very heavy dresser using them with ease on the carpet.. I was just having some fun with them, two plastic piece's works great too, there wider and easier to use just place one on top of the other I think I put some soap between them first..I too skated around the carpet with the little plates under my feet, great fun..

Now that was cool. I guess I would need four of them for my trike, and a bigger garage to turn around in.
Beaver, stop working on the boat project for awhile and concentrate on getting heat from the engine to
the back Passenger Ok
