Greetings from another new member!

Postby HyperPete » Thu Sep 22, 2011 12:19 pm

Hello from Marietta PA. I just purchased a new to me 1982 Aspencade that I'll be picking up this Saturday. It's got 43,000 miles on it and has been well maintained. The first thing I am doing is replacing the timing belts, and checking / replacing the fluids.

I want to thank the site owner and members for this invaluable resource - I've already downloaded all available manuals for the bike, and anticipate participating in the forums.

Cheers!

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Welcome to the board/bored! That photo does not look like an Aspencade.

You are correct. That's my M109R. I pick the wing up tomorrow, after which I will be able to take some photos!

Hope you do not have to pick it up in the rain. It is pouring here in south east Indiana and Cincinnati, OH.

It's raining here in PA too. Hopefully it will stop long enough for me to bring it home tomorrow, but I am going to bring a tarp and rope to cover it on the trailer just to be safe.

Looks as if I won't get to ride until the middle of next week at the earliest, however, as I don't enjoy riding in the rain.
