Snowing in Houston

Postby rob97989 » Fri Dec 04, 2009 12:25 pm

Well, I never winterize my Wing -- What is this stuff? White, flaky but not to ride in. Started this morning at 41 deg., getting heavier and temps are supposed to be at 32 deg. this afternoon so it will be sticking to the ground. Right now about 1/2 inch on roofs and parked cars.
Sorry, I know some of you are accustomed to snow but this is a big deal for Houston.

Well get useto it, I will send some of the 17 inches we got up here, if you want more.Ha Ha .. All is froze now at 5 above too.
Along side the Big Lake Michigan we didn't get as much, in land got the bulk of it.The lake keeps us cool during the summer, and at times during the winter it helps too. Happy Holidays WA9FWT PHIL

I'm disappointed. For days all I've heard about is this big winter storm that's going to hit us, get ready, snow's-a-comin'. Even this morning NOAA weather radio called for 3-5 inches by end of day. Well, it's end of day, and there's no more snow on the ground than there was at the beginning of the day: zero.
