03 Wing

Postby curtb » Thu Oct 27, 2011 12:31 am

Hey Guys

Great site! I just bought my first bike in over 25 years. Shiny red GL1800. Sitting quietly in the garage awaiting the plates to arrive. I looked most of the summer for a touring bike and read/evaluated many. V twins are nice but not for me. Found the Wing near home but it has a few more than avg miles, 87K. Looking forward to spending lots of miles enjoying it and lottsa time on forums getting educated. Wife and I are off to Tucson to a GWRRA gig this weekend. Dont even have a helmet yet but Im sure I wont come home from Tucson without one. And lottsa safety chrome as well.

Welcome to the forum and to the world of Goldwing ownership... You will be very happy you came back to motorcycling... there is nothing like it - unless it is skydiving,
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Welcome, I too have an 03 wing and love going for rides on it, they are heavy girls when stationary, but once moving they are a delight to ride.. Hope you have lots of fun rides on her.

Now why would I want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane? :D

What he said! I have an '03 too, love it.
