Postby furnacedoc » Tue Nov 01, 2011 4:31 pm

Hello everyone, Sad to say winter is coming and I am not looking forward to putting my Wing away for a long winters nap. Oh well spring will be here soon enough but until then I will continue to ride as long as I can. See ya on the road

Could not agree more with you. Winter comes too soon every year, and way too often at once a year. Hawwww. The alternatives tho are to move to Fladida or New Mexico or Arizona, and I cannot haul my motorcycle and my Airstream at the same time. A quandry for certain. What to do, what to do. Ride till I can't I guess, and then shut down till spring.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Yup. This is why I am one of the "last men standing" in the motorcycle parking lot at work. Was very happy to see two other bikes this morning in the lot. Most days the last two weeks here in Minnesota the lot has been without cycles. As fatr as I'm concerned this is some of the best riding weather of the year. I just turn up the heat on those cold mornings and hit the road!

yes it is a shame to have to but the beast up for the winter. This is some of the best riding weather there is. Not to hot and no bugs....Down side is the darkness and deer.

Funny I have to put my bike up in the summer here in Texas, it feels like I am riding a blowtorch. If you like your eggs flame broiled Texas is for you. Our winters here are perfect for me, down side the weather is so unpredictable, sunny and 65 in the day to 35 at night

My Karma ran over your dogma.
Pleas forgive my grammar, my Riding has always been better than my spelling.
