New to Goldwingdocs

just started riding again after being off for 35 years. 2008 gl1800 My wife had never rode before and she really enjoys it. Just sorry I waited so long to get back in the seat.

I added a picture, hope I did it right. I'm taking it easy getting the feel again. Remembering I have to anticipate all other drivers on the road.

35 years is a long time to be off a motorcycle, and the weight of that Wing is probably a lot more than you had on the bike 35 years ago...Your wife should be bugging you to go riding alot in the future, I'm sure.. Looks like it fits you pretty well too.... :D I see your photo just fine so you did it correctly...

Better late then never, good looking ride. There is probably a few more cars on the rode then you remember from 35 years ago too!

RoadRogue - just looked up your location, looks like you have some great riding areas. I'm hopping to do some trips in Canada, everyone I have talked to said who great the ridding and scenery was.

Yes I do have some of the best riding in the world right in my back yard. Look me up if you are coming to the area (that goes for everyone on this forum) I can give you local info and suggest roads that will fit your interests/needs. We usually have a spare bed if needed.
