Well...from my long-distant high school french, I make out:

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem with your language, I don't understand much, so I prefer to speak French.
I discovered your forum which seems complete, so I registered.
I'm French, I live in Bandol near Marseille and Toulon, it's very beautiful, but it's raining today.
I ride a 2007 GL1800 with GPS and air bag, I bought it 7 months ago and have ridden happily for 15,000 km, I've been riding since 1972. If anyone understands this you can write me a message.
Robert

I hope I haven't butchered your message too badly. I can't pretend to remember enough french to write in the language anymore, but I can usually decipher enough to figure out what the general idea is.

Welcome to the site! We have a few french-speakers online here, so I'm sure you'll be in good company.

Great job on the translation, you got it 99% correct.. I guess a few french Canadians might reply to him, but I doubt there are many French speaking people on here!!
