Snow storm on Halloween!!!!

Postby yogie007 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 6:41 pm

:( Certaintly not ready to store my 1980 GL1100 so early. Need to wait for the snow to melt to prep the bike for storage. The article (with great photos) for winterizing bike is outstanding. Honda should include it in their manuals. Great stuff.

Seeing we had a 14 inch snowstorm last Sun, I decided I was done for the season........Now, most of the snow is gone and the weather has been great, I'm thinking I might be going for another ride or two.............suppose to be 50-60 on Sunday and Monday.

Yeah, Maine got hit hard with snow.

Here in Syracuse, NY, we typically get the snow because we are also in the snow belt off the great lakes.

Anyway, I went riding this past Sunday - not too cold I thought. Especially with the fairing and heavy work clothes on. I am sure I looked like a guy going to a construction job rather than a cruise. Anyway, some folks said I was hard core.

Didn't know that one earns the title of hardcore just from riding in chilly weather. ???
