just a quickie ..have any of you changed the CB from AM to FM or does the CB work fine in the UK ? :D

On my 88 , the cb and the am/fm antenna are two seperate types of antennas.The cb is intended to cover a 27 mhz band only and the am/fm covers 0.8 mhz to 108 mhz for the radio.They should not be reversed.
The cb should work worldwide as long as there is someone to talk to.

He is making fun as the UK only allows FM transmission not AM as per the USA, and the UK uses a different set of frequencies to the USA, meaning that if your wing has an american CB then you are transmitting on an illegal frequency and in an illegal mode.. I doubt honda offered a legal CB for the UK, so what are goldwing riders in the UK doing for CB?
