Okay Guys and Gals,

I just moved to Seattle, Washington from Austin, Texas, it will be a few more weeks before my bikes arrive, but now that the pesky white stuff (Snow) has melted I am starting to look for places to go ride (Nice twisty, scenic roads) in the areas surrounding Seattle.. There looks to be some amazing places to ride according to google earth, but I wondered if we have any members in Seattle and any recommendations on where to ride..

I already got my first speeding ticket, I can't believe how slow the freeway speed limits are!! I was use to 85mph in France, then moved to Texas and we where down to 65/70mph now in Washington it seems to be 55/60mph max!! My next state will have me using reverse gear on the freeway if this trend continues.. I don't consider myself a speed freak (I definitely was in my younger days) but 4 lane highways with 55mph limits just seems way too slow..!! :D

Thanks Angela, I am definitely planning to make it up to BC with my wife and kids (I ride the wing with one kid and my wife rides a VT750 with the other kid!!) once the weather gets a bit better (And the bikes get delivered!!). We are currently living in our RV whilst we look for a house, so everything (including the motorbikes) is in storage until we get a house..

Regards Gary

That's great Gary. I too live in a RV but for me it is my home. I have a 40' park model with 3 slides, 2 of which are opposing in the living rm. I live in a beautiful Cedar forested park called Hazelmere RV Park (http://www.hazelmere.ca/ )which is reasonably priced & has all kinds of nature (ie 3 nesting pairs of eagals year round) Duck & coyotes. Hope all your stuff arrives intact. Angela
