This seems like an awesome site. I grew up as a kid riding with my dad on the 1978 Goldwing that he bought when he was 17, and now it's being passed on to me. I've ridden in the past, but not a Wing, and I'm excited to keep the legacy going on the bike that I grew up on. Looking forward also to joining this online community.

Thanks everyone; re pictures, it's at my uncle's in Seattle getting put back in flawless condition. I'm picking it up in April and riding it home to Socal. Pictures will come as soon as it's in my state, for sure.

Welcome to the site. Enjoy the new to you wing. Word of caution, the 'wing handles different than other bikes so take your time and enjoy the wind in your face. Get to learn how she handles.

Congratulations on the new owner ship of the bike. And welcome to this site from Wi.
It just goes to show, that a goldwing can be handed down to relatives and still give great service.

May you put on a lot more miles!! :D :D
