Yes I'd rather be riding it than shinning it. But I have some spare time and the weather is not 100% ready for my liking. I decided to give my new to me 1995 GL1500 thorough cleaning and remove as much of the rust as possible before Riding season is in full gear. I think the aluminum wheels I will do next season. Engine rocker cover then also. I steel woold all the engine guards and chrome pieces. All.the parts I steel wooled look shiny. Exhaust pipes also where done. As long as the bike is clean and no rust is visible I'm good to go. 8-)
