When you "pott" it putting it back together can you just use regular silicone to do that or does it have to be a certain kind? I have never done this before and was curious. I have read that you can just use regular silicone but better safe then sorry. I have it taken out and have de-potted it and I have removed the chip. Mine actually had a cage for lack of a better term to hold it in place. Can't that just be reused on the new one? I haven't received the new ones yet but hope to have them by the end of the week. Thanks again for the knowledge!

Thanks to all who answer and help. It is greatly appreciated!

I used regular silicone. I used it because it seemed like a good choice to me -- but I don't know enough about it to know if it was a good choice or not.
