replace/upgrade radio

Does anyone know if there is a more up-to-date replacement radio for the Panasonic RM-1100 used in the 1984 1200 Aspencade ?

Do you mean an actual Honda update? if so No what ya see is what ya get.
you can install an aftermarket radio but of course lose the auto volume control and intercom.

If your having problems with the radio you can contact http://www.sierra-mc.com/ they are the only people I know who repair these radios.
If you want to add mp3 capability then you can use a scoche or audiovox fm modulator to run your tunes through the radio.

if you do not care about the cb/intercom system you could fabricate a new system using the stock pull out box. I just finished mine yesterday with common household tools. it still pulls out with the key and used the factory wire harness.i also added a couple switches for my fork and led lights.

how do you fit inside to not got loose............

on my 1984 i pull out a 2 bottons old radio.(not the oem)...and i think that these radio do not exist anymore.

can not have a idea what to fit (new radio dont hold with the buttons and nuts.......
