stabilizer wheels

Post by robinasq » Sun Jun 15, 2014 6:00 pm

Hi
I am looking at purchasing a 95 1500. The bike has motorized stabilizer wheels permanently mounted . They are electronically controlled with two thumb buttons on the handle bar.

I am having no luck searching for these on the market. The owner said they came with the bike and had no info on them.

Does anyone have experience with these ?
Thanks in advance.

Landing Gear were made by a company in Louisiana that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina, and never resumed operation afterward. They look like this:

There is another outfit called Chopper Designs that makes the confusingly named LegUp LandinGear that is still available. It has smaller wheels:

LegUp LandinGear

There is one other manufacturer that is a small one-man outfit whose name I can't recall. I know he advertises in the back of GWRRA magazine, and usually has a booth at Wing Ding.
