You might be a Redneck motorcycle tech job

Postby trike lady » Tue Mar 20, 2012 11:41 pm

I just found the 'You might be a Redneck job' on the job search site.
Remember the the joke about the Redneck looking for a wife and she must have a boat with motor and pickup truck to tow it. Please send photo of boat and truck.
I just found a motorcycle shop looking to hire a tech and it has a similar line in it, read for yourself.

Busy fast paced shop looking for experienced Harley Davidson Tech.
Applicant must have H-D training and five years experience working on Harely's.
Applicant must have motorcycle license and must have or be able to get inspection certified asap.
All techs have two lifts and the best equipment available.
DYNO experience is a plus.
Applicant will be expected to have all tools needed to perform most tasks.
Pay is $20.00-25.00 @hour
Please forward resume and picture of tool box.
Well my tool box is old and beat, I guess I won't get hired the box makes a lousy appearance yet it still holds the tools.

Ok add the two numbers together then add 45 to 45 and you might get close to how much a tech makes and yes he or she will need a trailer to haul the tool box

There's a big difference in what you pay the shop vs. what the technician earns.
