If you like sausage, don't watch it being made

A friend of mine sent me this picture of some very alien ugly creatures crawling and thrashing about in his kitchen sink. I love lobster tails dipped in garlic butter with crisp green beans and baked potatoes, but if I had to handle these guys two hours before dinner, I doubt I'd have an appetite when they were done.

It's the same with Bologna. I saw how it's made and now I don't touch the stuff.

I saw the insides of a McDonald's meat processing plant when I was 18 or so. I haven't eaten there since.

i used to have a job cleaning beer taps and draught beer lines at local fine dining establishments in the tampa bay area. a lot of beer is stored in the same coolers as the food items. i will not drink draft beer any longer. also after seeing the way food is stored, i am very hesitant when it comes to eating out period. the cleaner used in the eer lines is an acidic oil that is only rinsed through with the beer from the kegs. its like trying to rinse motor oil with tap water. the acid remains in the lines regardless of the rinse process. also the beer lines start to mold after about two weeks. pretty nasty.
