But what stops the rider, it looks like he should have carried on flying down the sidewalk, instead he stops as quickly as the bike and even bounces backwards? I can't see anything that would stop him? Very lucky escape..

What caused him to change his flight direction while in mid-air? To me that is also amazing.

Thats what I cant see either, he should have been sliding for another block. Maybe a guy wire?

Looks like he hit something between the pole and the wall - stuff flew off, including what looks like his helmet? I was trying to figure out what he was trying to do, looks like he hit something before entering the frame because he's already going sideways. What a "lucky" hit - not lucky for the bike, but lucky for him and that nobody else got hit!
