OMIBS and loosing my sleep!

Old Man's intermittant Bladder Syndrome. It's where you wake in the night with an urge. Go attend to that urge and return to bed. Ten minutes later, repeat the process. I'm so tired of this.

Two products can (but will they) offer relief for this problem. Bell's Ezee Flow Tea is one, and it tastes awful but it works, and the other is Saw Palmetto. Both are natural products, and when I encountered your symptoms, and took the Bell's Ezee Flow for six months and the Saw Palmetto for three years, my symptoms decreased and then finally just went away. Due to my age, I still get up once a night to relieve bladder pressure, but then go back to sleep till morning. Sometimes I get all the way to six AM before I have to get up, and then I just stay up. There are also prescription meds that can relax the bladder neck and the prostrate and relieve these symptoms.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

I wake up at midnight, feeling it is 4 a.m. or so, so this is a really bugger, but the cartoon network helps me in 10 minutes fall right back to sleep (go fig with all those colorsand flashing lights). Granted, getting old is bad, but at least I know I still wake up when I get the 'urge'. The first time I do not wake up, Ima gonna hate that!!

Yes, which leads to one of life's most important truths. Never, ever take a sleeping pill and a powerful laxative the same night!
