GETTING OLD

Postby jeffers » Sat Oct 11, 2014 1:55 am

You know that you're getting old when you bend down to tie you shoe and you try to think if there's anything else that you can do while you're down there...

Old is when you wait almost to long to go to the rest room and when you get there you forget what you went there for :o

If *I* wait to long I don't need to make the trip.
Today is the oldest you've ever been,
yet the youngest you'll ever be,
so enjoy this day while it lasts.

This morning I was thinking about when I was 10 when me and my friend John walked to the corner store. It was a beautiful sunny day 82 degrees with only a few clouds in the sky. We each had a nickel. We each got a bag of candy and a bottle of root beer. Uh the good old days. Well I have a full day ahead of me so I am off to...............???????

Mine is ...

"You know that you're getting old when you bend down to tie your shoe......then you forget why you bent over"
.....and you are barefoot
.....and what???

Way too many old stories to worry about, lol, but that is what really makes the day go by ;)

I think I'm gonna just sew my socks to my jeans, and sew my underwear to the inside...then I will only have to lift my legs once to put everything on.....just a thought

I double knot all my shoes, so I never need to tie them again, just slip them on like slippers, LMAO.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

You know you're getting old when your jokes begin with "You know you're getting old when......".

.....and then you forget the punchline. My memory is starting to go slow but sure, but I am looking at things a heck of a lot different now, do not get spun up as much, and also do not try to jam so much in to one day.

Come on AGE, I am waiting for you!!!!

You know your getting old when you see a naked blond woman riding a horse and think "what a good lookin horse"

No matter where you go, there you are. It's not the destination that matters. Getting there safe does.
