Hondog

Postby Jeeper » Sun Jun 20, 2010 8:39 am

While at Laconia NH this year for bike week I found the most unusual GL1000. I guess you could definitely say this one is full dressed, including 2 sets of antlers on the windshield. It's appropriately named "Hondog". I can't believe the genuine saddle seat is comfortable.

Check out those horns? Are they air horns near the jugs?

Either that or a set of "aooga" horns, I think.

With all that on his bike he is still thinking saftey with the helmet on the seat.
It's not what you buy, it's what you build.

I saw his bike when at a rest stop when I drove across country a couple years ago and shot some pics of his bike and trailer. On the right side of the bike, it had a Kawasaki logo on the fairing I believe. Did he just put a different fairing on his Goldwing or is it actually a Kawasaki?

That is most definitely a Honda engine, I see the timing belt covers and the cylinders valve covers, but the tank I'm not sure of ....Perhaps it's a hybrid..

I think I'll pass on the antlers but I have added a working hood scoop to let air into the cab for the rider
