Bad Train Wreck in Iowa

Postby tom84std » Thu May 07, 2015 5:11 pm

I scanned The Drudge Report this morning. There was a story about a freight train which derailed in rural Iowa. No injuries. Substantial property loss though. The train was loaded with Harley Davidson motorcycles as well as a large shipment of marine hardware bound for a distribution center and retail sales. The clean-up people were having a difficult time sorting through the mess and clearing things because in the debris scatter they couldn't distinguish between the motorcycles and the boat anchors.

Passed it on to my HD friends, so if I don't post for awhile, you'll know what happened to me.

But could they tell the difference between the Harleys and the train wreck itself?

The salvage company sold the entire lot to boat owners.

Obtaining the maximum enjoyment from operating a motorcycle is a mind game. Keep the mind on the ride from exiting the friction zone to kick stand down at the end of the ride.
