Now this devise is more appropriate for older bikes like I ride. It's display is a single LED that describes the battery state by the following code:


Here is a shot showing where I put the LED on my 1977 GL1000;


The LED is just to the right of the choke knob (remember those? lol)

Last season my battery was going bad and causing a miss at high speed, and yet the stator still had normal output and the bike started normally so I did not suspect the battery until the end of the season when starting finally became an issue. This is a nice option for classic bikes in my opinion.
