Omni-Cruise Universal Motorcycle Throttle Lock

Postby patbrandon1 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 2:38 am

This made in the USA throttle lock is pretty cool. I have no affiliation with it, or the manufacturer guy named Brian. He makes them himself, and sells them himself. Fits ANY kind of bike. I subscribe to a channel on YouTube by a guy that tests some products and was emailed this update for it. Has anyone here ever used one? Here is a link if you would like to see the review

My wife has the same thing on her VT750, it works quite well for such a simple device. It allows you to relax your wrist for a few minutes whilst it holds the throttle at your desired position. Much cheaper than a real cruise system, but good results, I would also recommend it to anyone wanting a simple/cheap cruise control.

Looks very similar to the GoCruise throttle lock that I wrote about in 2011. My wife has been using that on her bike for over a year now.

Kinda like re-inventing the wheel and at steeper price than all the others that have been around for decades. $49. I shall pass.

I bought something like that a few years ago for my Shadow. Was made of plastic, they had black and chrome(d) ones. Worked well, but would slip if I hit a good bump. I think it cost $16 at the time. Felt it was money well spent.
