Helinox Travel Chair And Table Review

Postby patbrandon1 » Thu Feb 27, 2014 3:12 pm

I found this pretty cool little chair review from youtube that I wanted others to see. I have never seen this before, but maybe some of you have. I have no affiliation with this product, I just thought it would come in handy for some. It is pricey, but it's small, and sturdy. The big chair I take, uses about five times more space.

This guy does some reviews and trips on youtube that I follow. Here is a link to the chair review.

I like this little chair, even though it's a bit expensive - $100 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Helinox-Chair-One ... ingdocs-20

I've carried along the large folding chairs before, I'll stick them on my trunk and bungee them in place. You have to remember they stick out the sides of the bike and make you a bit wider. Really inconvenient. I'm going to add this to my Christmas list, I think. :)

I've got a friend who has two chairs. They are really good.

Only issue is if your a bit large in the rear end. He has a friend who is, and when the friend tried it out and got up, the chair was still attached to him. :D

I have a friend of mine who does a lot of canoeing, and she has two of these chairs. They truly are tiny when packed up in their little bag, and they go together and come apart in seconds. They are rock solid, and while you're sitting fairly close to the ground, they're comfortable - and it sure beats sitting ON the ground.

Thinking what a great idea this was i checked ebay and discovered a "Travel Chair, Joey Chair". Looks to be very similar but costs less. Just a thought to explore before you spend the bucks. Not sure which is actually better. Has anyone used the Joey?

We got two of these chairs in December of 2014, and have been using them ever since. They are fantastic! Two of them pack in the bike, take up almost no space, and are super comfortable to sit in. We love them!
