That's a very useful post! And from my quick perusal, it seems to be correct. I wrote a quick formatting routine to make it format correctly for regular ASCII text, I've re-posted it below:

Wingadmin,

Any chance of getting it in CSV so that it plants directly into a spreadsheet or table? TIA

This is probably a dumb question but I am looking at the coil wires (Clymer manual page 212) on my '82 1100 and both cyl. 1 and cyl. 3 have the same color code, Black/White.
That seems strange to me.

I removed the coils to check them, now they are back in I am trying to get it running smoothly.
Its possible that I mixed them up at the time of re-installation I suppose.
The carbs are bone dry as they are freshly cleaned so I know its going to take some cranking to get fuel into the system, but other than not running smoothly how can I tell if the Black/White wires are connected to their respective coils?
Thanks

Above this response and your question is the colour coding that Honda uses. In amongst the colours in the Spreadsheet, you will find the colours you are inquiring about.

Thanks a lot for the CSV file of Honda wiring color codes. I now have a nice spreadsheet of all the wiring colors and what they are used for.

This was bad.. very bad! Evil and maddening.

I followed the above link and from there, I fell down the rabbit hole, following link after link each with great information, and it took me hours to get out... lol

Great information to be found... but be forewarned of the rabbit hole.

Thanx!
