Nice, I take back all I grumbled about. Thank you for including the U.P.in your travels. Of course there are a lot of stops you could make along the way if you have the time and it looks like you will be going thru Escanaba which is only 20 miles from my humble abode. I do hope you have a great trip and enjoythe ggreat U.P. Ride safe.

:D Not sure about the many things we will be able to take in, in 4 days. My wife has never really been out of the state of Mi. so just getting to another state will be a lot for her. As a Truck Driver I have seen more of this Country than most people will ever see.

I hope to try and get to Picture Rocks at a minimum and Tahquamenon Falls will be easy because we will be staying the night there. As for Escanaba, we will probably be going right through there as it is on the shore line. I think our route takes us from R35 to US2. This trip will basically be a pack and go trip with no real set plans other than our scheduled overnights!

That sure will be some trip around lake Michigan. Not sure I would enjoy the route through Chicago and Milwaukee. But as soon as you get North of Milwaukee, and into Sheboygan, you should look for LS ( Lake Shore Road ) out of Sheboygan North to Manitowoc.LS is so close to the lake that you can toss a rock into the water.
From Sheboygan to Manitowoc is only a 40 Minute drive, but your away from highway traffic, and I like that kind of driving. Good luck on that adventure. :)
